The HIVE Robotics team hosts various community events and activities throughout the school year:
- Community STEM Day - Community members are invited out to learn about all of the STEM activities going on in the center school district. Come see our students present their projects. See what the middle school PEGS science classes have been up to. This is where you can also see our FIRST Lego Robotics teams in action in practice scrimmages and drive the big FIRST Robotics competition high school Robot!
- STEM Tea Parties - We don't need a prince to build our castles because we will be building our own castles! At this event we empower our girls to become interested in STEM related activities and careers.
- Robotics Summer Camp - This camp is all about the building and programming. Students are immersed in the process of building and programmer EV3 robots all while being guided by the FIRST core values.
- After School Lego Clubs - Teach younger students the basics of what FIRST Lego is all about. They learn the core values, learn some Jr. FLL skills while also learning basic coding techniques for EV3 robots. These clubs are open to students as young as 6 years old.
